Preschool / Junior Kindergarten

Rochester Arts and Sciences Academy is dedicated to laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning in a safe, playful, nurturing environment. Preschool and Junior Kindergarten students at RASA find learning fun, participating in a wide range of enriching activities that build emotional, social, cognitive, language and physical skills. Lessons are learnt through carefully-designed age appropriate learning centers for imaginative play, languages, math, science, music, creative art and drama providing opportunities for both shared and independent learning. Cognitive and social skills are developed through cooperative play and collaborative problem-solving encouraging the expression of ideas in both spoken and written forms.
