Field Trips

 

 

 Field trips form an important part of the RASA student's education. RASA students frequently enrich their classroom learning with off-campus experiences. Some notable trips have included: 

 

 The Arts

 

RASA students regularly attend and participate in performances of dance, music and drama. Attendances this year have included the Masque Youth Theatre and the Rochester Dance Theater as well as trips to Minneapolis to the Guthrie Theater and the Confucius Institute at the University of Minnesota. Students also visit the Rochester Art Center.

 RASA Kindergarteners enjoy the production of  'Polar Express' by the Rochester Children's  Dance Theatre

Sciences

 

Kindergarten, first and second grade students have completed workshops at Quarry Hill Nature Center. RASA students have also attended the mock pediatric intensive care unit at Mayo Eugenia Litta Children's Hopital, Mayo Clinic.

The highlight of a Unit of Inquiry on Fall for the Preschool and Junior Kindergarten students was a visit to the Apple Ridge Orchard.
