School Calendar
The school year is divided into 5 terms of roughly 7 weeks each, which correspond to IB units of inquiry. The academic school year at RASA, at 188 days, is longer than that of the the public (166 full days, 8 half days) or most private schools in Rochester (171-175 days). All of these other schools in Rochester fall short of the national average in the US of 180 days per year. RASA also does not close for 'snow days'. We are open for educational activities every weekday throughout the school year.
