TUITION & TUITION ASSISTANCE
Annual tuition covers the cost of full-day academic instruction (8:00 am to 3:25 pm), curriculum materials, and field trips. An additional fee of $75 is assessed yearly for students in kindergarten and older to help maintain technology needs. Additional fees apply for after-school care, after-school clubs, term break care, and summer camp. A list of required school supplies is also distributed each August.
Rochester Arts & Sciences Academy strives to make tuition affordable for families. Tuition assistance is available based on financial need and available funds. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Awards are made for one academic year at a time. Decisions relating to tuition assistance are made after enrollment and are entirely separate from the admission process. All tuition assistance applicants may only apply once their student application for admission has been processed and they have received formal notification that they have been invited to attend RASA. This process is confidential. Community donations and the school provide the funds for tuition assistance.
RASA utilizes a nationally recognized service, TADS, for both admissions applications and tuition assistance. TADS applies standardized criteria to determine to what extent each family needs assistance to pay for one year’s tuition. The RASA executive committee uses information from the TADS process to allocate awards each year. The TADS financial aid worksheet below, is designed to assist in completing the application.
RASA also use TADS for billing including: tuition, after-school care fees, and summer camp fees. TADS makes payments easier for families by offering a variety of payment schedules and allowing the use of a credit card.
